The name is pronounced like "Thomas," without saying the "mas." That is convenient to remember because that's how it's spelled--even in Vietnamese. At work, everybody calls me Tom. Which is fine, because that's short for Thomas, which is the way it's pronounced and spelled if you ignore the "mas"....huh?
