| A couple months later: Frankie is improving! You can see the green coloring coming up from below the smooth white bony rebuilt area. The red areas are slowly "molting" off in soft sheets--like a scab, I suppose--revealing hard bone underneath. Frankie is still being dry docked, but she gets a little bit of submerging time and sun basking time now. There is still quite of bit of healing to do, but this is the first time that I can actually see improvements! Doctor Heather B rocks! |
